The Geography
Kosovo has a predominantly continental climate with a Mediterranean influence. The country has many mountains and hills, causing the climate to vary depending on altitude. Kosovo is one of the most mountainous countries in this part of Europe, with an altitude difference of about 2,300 meters between the highest and lowest points.
The highest point of Kosovo is Rudoka e Madhe (2,658 m), and the lowest point is in the valley of the White Drin River at an altitude of 250 m (820 ft).
